XAUUSD SELL Signal — $4155 Setup for 29 Sep 2026
Gold crashed yesterday, hitting our stop loss. Today, we are looking for a smart sell entry near the $4,155 resistance ceiling.
Gold is trading at $4142.07 right now, up about $4.10 since we woke up this morning. If you look at the charts, the metal is trying to catch its breath after a massive drop yesterday. It is always tough to see your screen covered in red, but that is part of the game. Let us look at what we can do today.
How Yesterday's Signal Went
Let us be completely honest about yesterday. We called a BUY at $4282.00. While the price did climb initially to $4310.00 and hit our first target of $4300.00, it quickly turned around and crashed. The price tumbled all the way to $4143.10. That means our stop loss at $4267.00 was hit. It was a tough loss to swallow, costing us $15.00 per ounce in risk. We own our losses here. Yesterday was a clear reminder of why we always use a safety net.
If you did not use a stop loss, you would be sitting on a massive floating loss of over $130 today. That is why we stress risk management so much. We move on, learn from it, and look for the next clean setup.
Today's Trade Setup
Why This Setup
Yesterday's heavy selling broke through several key floors. Now, gold is sitting near a weak support (a price floor where buyers usually step in to stop a fall). However, because the downward momentum is so strong, we believe any small bounce today is just a temporary relief. If you are new to gold trading, always remember that physical gold prices in South Asian markets, like Pakistan or UAE, can lag behind these charts. Local jewelers in Karachi or Dubai might still be adjusting their rates per tola. For us online traders, we want to watch the charts closely.
We expect the market to climb slightly to $4,155.00 to test the new resistance (a price ceiling that stops gold from rising). This ceiling used to be a floor, but now it acts as a barrier. This is where we want to sell. If gold hits this ceiling and heads back down, we can ride the wave toward $4,110.00.
What Could Go Wrong
No trade is a sure thing. If gold gets some unexpected positive news and climbs above $4,175.00, this setup is completely invalid. That price level would mean the buyers have taken back control, and we do not want to stand in their way.Bottom Line
Be patient today. Do not jump in right now at $4142.07. Wait for the price to climb up to our entry at $4155.00 before you place your sell order. If it never reaches that level, just walk away and wait for tomorrow.Written by XAUUSDTips Team. Not financial advice. Trade at your own risk.
